A number animation you can take into your edit.

Enter your values and caption, choose a palette and aspect ratio, then play or scrub the composition. Download a silent MP4 or looping GIF. Choose MP4 for video editing and GIF for short animations.

Choose rolling digits for a single number reveal or before & after for a direct comparison with its absolute change. The reels transition between the supplied values. Moving digits and the travelling marker are animation, not a historical data series. The final number uses your selected decimal precision.

Formats and limits

2, 5, or 10 seconds. MP4 is 30 fps: at 720p, landscape is 1280 × 720, square 720 × 720 and portrait 720 × 1280; at 1080p, these are 1920 × 1080, 1080 × 1080 and 1080 × 1920. GIF is 20 fps and loops: 960 × 540 landscape, 960 × 960 square or 540 × 960 portrait. GIF files are capped at 32 MB and use a limited colour palette. Values from −999,999,999.99 to 999,999,999.99. Short Latin-script text and currency symbols are supported. MP4 requires browser H.264 encoding; GIF uses a browser worker. Audio and transparent backgrounds are not included.

What is a number counter animation?

A number counter animation is a short clip that reveals a value by changing its displayed digits. This tool makes downloadable videos and GIFs; it does not count live visitors or add a counter to a website.

How to make your clip

  1. Enter the values. Set the starting number, ending number, metric label and source or caption.
  2. Choose the presentation. Use rolling digits for a reveal or before & after for a comparison. Set the duration, decimal places and aspect ratio, then preview.
  3. Download and reuse. Export MP4 or GIF. Save a project file to restore the values and settings later.

A before-and-after example

For an illustrative monthly revenue change from $10,000 to $12,500, the absolute increase is $2,500. Enter those values with the $ prefix and choose Before & after. This is fictional example data, not a SupaMakers revenue claim.

Where are my values processed?

Values, captions and project files are processed in your browser. Plausible records aggregate visits and categorical tool events, without chart values or file contents. Read how processing, analytics and corrections work.
