Use a story you genuinely plan to publish. This is an evaluation, not a request for a positive review, backlink or endorsement. Publishing is optional and subject to your editorial process.

1. What are you trying to explain, and where will the chart appear?
2. Use your data or a sourced example. Set a headline, source and one meaningful annotation.
3. Check the chart at the width of your article/newsletter. Try the large-text reading layout for a narrow column.
4. Export, download the publishing pack and place the media into your normal writing tool. Stop wherever you would normally stop.
